I had a Grade 3 Meniscus “Bucket Handle” tear on my knee that restricted me to dance Salsa, practice Yoga, Run and Jump without causing swollen leg and tremendous amount of pain. I went from wearing heals to snickers/flip flops, skirts to knee straps. A total mental confidence buster.
My Meniscectomy was a 4 hour procedure ONLY but left me bed ridden for 7 days, in crutches for 3 weeks and mobile with straps on for 4 weeks.
After a full 8 weeks recovery, i began my fitness journey with @allister.
Not only we trained the muscle from zero but also on my confidence and fear to push my body weight on injured area.
Today i can walk on heals, dance salsa, sprint on 13 speed and most of all carry heavy weights.
From crutches to 140kgs Leg Presses in less than a year.
This simply would not been possible without his focussed drive for success, challenging training regimes and extensive knowledge in anatomy and rehabilitation.

I think the difference i see when training with Allister is that he believes so much in what i can achieve. That belief is what sets him apart fro other personal trainers, the fact that he takes my success personally and to heart. Oliver always exercised regularly but struggled with weight loss, he came to Allister for advice. He soon realised the training methods he was using were not beneficial for his goal, and through the week he would eat in a calorie deficit but then destroy his progress by binging on a weekend like most people do! We adapted his nutrition to allow for more ‘treat’ meals but maintaining a calorie deficit without going too low that he couldn’t stick to it!
As you can see Kay was already in great shape, but she was still self conscious about her stomach. Over a 6 week period she managed to lose a significant amount of body fat and tone up her abs which she was clearly very happy with!
